The poet Robert Burns mentions Aberfeldy in his poem ‘The Birks of Aberfeldy’. It is also mentioned in the old Loch Tay Boat Song. Aberfeldy is well-known for Wade’s Bridge, built in 1773. General Wade considered the bridge to be his greatest achievement.
