Bethnal Green is a district in north east London, in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Hackney. Bethnal Green is between Clerkenwell and Globe Town, and is about 15 minutes away from Liverpool Street Station. Bethnal Green has its own tube and train stations, and is on the Central line.

The area was heavily bombed during World War II, and many unexploded bombs have been found in the area since.
